Hospital & Hospice Chaplaincy Adviser

Revd Canon Judith Allford (volunteer) is available to Hospital, Hospice and Mental Health Chaplains for advice, pastoral care and support. She liaises with Hospital Trusts on all chaplaincy matters and liaises with parishes and clergy on any issues regarding Healthcare chaplaincy.

Prison Chaplaincy

CET also offers support and advice to our Prison Chaplains, their colleagues and volunteers who work in the prisons in our diocese - HMP Send, HMP Downview, HMP High Down and HMP Coldingley - and HMP & Young Offenders Bronzefield, which is just outside.

Police Chaplaincy

Supporting the Police through Faith Engagement

Patrick Samuels, a Captain in the Church Army has been appointed to the role of Faith Co-ordinator and Police Chaplain. Prior to this role he was working in community outreach in Walton particularly on the St John’s estate and was a volunteer chaplain to the Elmbridge Police Team. He will continue to support and develop the Volunteer police chaplains, provide a variety of training to the police and seek and encourage links between the police and faith communities.
