Social support

As part of the Church’s response to God's desire for social justice, and a right relationship between people and the created world, we can support and encourage parishes, deaneries and others within the Diocese of Guildford to engage with issues arising in the wider community, such as debt and homelessness.

We do this through working with local parishes and people, identifying their local issues, and then establishing partnerships with local ecumenical, not-for-profit and statutory groups to respond to these issues.

We can offer support to community projects, clergy, PCCs, Pastoral Assistants and others through consultation, training, information and signposting - including sources of funding and through the sharing of good practice.

We are always happy to receive enquires what we do and how you can become involved.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.
