Good Neighbours Support Service
(formerly Hampshire Voluntary Care Groups)
The Care Groups Service was set up in a spirit of partnership between the Dioceses of Guildford, Portsmouth and Winchester to provide neighbourly care to those in need. Today it is made up of 110 care groups and 3,500 volunteers and is now ecumenical and linked to other community groups.
The Care Groups carry out wonderful community work, from being neighbourly like fetching shopping to helping people to retain their independence from care homes and residential care.
