Hearing Aid Maintenance Training - Become a Champion!
1 in 6 people have a hearing loss in our diocese. An increasing population and longer life expectancy, mean that our church buildings need to be able to welcome and accomodate those with sensory loss to aid communication. We are looking or volunteers to be trained in the basic maintenance of hearing aids, offering these simple maintenance sessions at exisitng church social events e.g. coffee mornings, lunches, afternoon teas.

Godly Play Course
This offers an insight into children's spirituality and the background to Godly Play. A Taster Session of Godly Play is usually a workshop option at Creating Sparks, our annual training day in May for children's leaders.
Introductory One Day Courses
For those interested in or just starting Godly Play
Each 1 day course runs on a Saturday:

Covers: Telling stories the Godly Play way; Getting to grips with the structure of a session; Resources and long-term plans. The course includes lots of practical management.
Cost: £25 per person (or £20 if two or more from the same organisation/church attend)

Guildford Pub Bombing 40th Anniversay Commemoration Service
Sunday 5th October 2014 4pm
Quakers' Acre, North Street (next to Guildford Library and opposite the building which was formally the Horse and Groom) Guildford, where there is a memorial plaque to the five people who were killed that evening.
The service will remember the five who died and the many who were injured, pay tribute to the courageous work of the emergency services who helped, acknowledge with gratitude the duty of those in the armed forces who were the targets, and express the longing for peace and reconciliation, now widely shared.
Epsom Mental Health Week
For Your Peace of Mind

Epsom Mental health Week is organised by 'Love Me Love My Mind' a small registered charity based in Epsom. It aims to promote better understanding of mental health and to support the wellbeing of everyone in the local community.

Carers Afternoon Tea and Evensong
