Domestic Abuse Seminar

Tuesday 17th September 2013 from 10am - 3pm
at Holy Trinity Church, High Street, Guildford GU1 3HN

Domestic abuse is about power and control. It can take many forms and affects: 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men. It can happen to anyone regardless of gender, religion, ethnicity, age, class, mental or physical ability or sexuality.

Carers Afternoon Tea and Evensong

Carers are one of the most important building blocks of our society

Thursday 31st October @ 3.30pm
at The Refectory, Guildford Cathedral, Stag Hill, Guildford GU2 7UP

All are welcome to join an informal get together of; Carers / those who have been carers / those who are being cared for.
With tea and cake in the Refectory at 3.30pm with guest speakers. For those who wish to stay, the reception will be followed by a dedicated Evensong in the Cathedral from 5.30 - 6.30pm

Admission is free to both, but for catering purposes, we'd be grateful if you would please register, so we know how many cakes to bake!

Free evening sessions, open to everyone, are being held in St Nicolas Church Hall, Guildford from May to October 2013

Find helpful exercises to help focus attention and live in the present moment, letting go of worries and habits which no longer work, and to boost well-being.
