Support and training for RE Subject Leaders

The diocese provides support for RE Subject Leaders in church schools and affiliated Schools. At present the courses offered are suitable for primary subject leaders.  Support for church and affiliated secondary schools is individually tailored, please make contact with Jane Whittington to discuss your requirements.

These session are all held at the Diocesan Education Centre, Stag Hill, Guildford, GU2 7UP .The content is the same at both sessions. No need to book a place just come to the session that suits you best.

If you are new to leading RE in your school we have a packaage of support for you.

A two hour one to one visit by either Jane Whittington or Rachel Boxer our RE Advisors for you to use in what ever way you wish.

A course New to RE Subject Leadership in Church Primary Schools.

Church Schools both VA and VC should take account of the Statement of Entitlement to RE in Church Schools when planning their RE curriculum.
