Education for Discipleship – Course for Adults
‘Living Your Faith’
Living Your Faith is the Diocese’s own course package on discipleship. In an earlier version (Toolkit for Christian Living), the course has been running in local groups for two years (2007-2009) but is now being prepared for general release in a published format for use by parishes or other groups.
Module 1. Journey of Faith:
Where are you on the journey? Faith development and life-stages; connecting with others; developing discipleship and sense of life’s mission.
Module 2. Roots of Faith:
Approaches to studying and interpreting the Bible as it helps us to encounter Jesus; exploring the authority of Scripture, its range and scope and its relationship with Christian living today.
Module 3. Living Faith:
Understanding how to live as Christian disciples in a fast-changing world; responding to people of other faiths and no faith; expressing and sharing faith at home, at work, in the community and across the whole of life.
