Visitation of Churchwardens and Admission to Office

Under the Churchwardens Measure, all Churchwardens must be admitted to office annually and by 31st July. Every Churchwarden must attend one of the Visitations below. (Whilst it would be good for a Churchwarden to attend a Visitation in their own group of Deaneries, it is legal for him/her to attend any one of the four due to be held in this diocese.

Visitation for Dorking, Leatherhead and Epsom Deaneries
Monday 20th May at 8pm

Visitation for Cranleigh, Godalming and Guildford Deaneries
Thursday 23rd May at 8pm

Articles of Enquiry

Articles of Enquiry (long version for those parishes receiving a Visitation this year from the relevant Archdeacon)

It is a legal requirement that all Articles of Enquiry are completed. The form should be returned to the Archdeacon's Office at Diocesan House, Quarry Street, Guildford, Surrey GU1 3XG after it has been discussed at PCC, but no later than 30th April.
