School Support and Training
Continuing Professional Development Programme
Our Continuing Professional Development Programme is produced and published termly. Courses and school-based INSET are charged at competitive rates. This programme offers courses for teachers and teaching assistants, covering a good range of subjects mainly in the primary phase. The courses take place at the Education Centre, which offers a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere.
Guildford Diocese is committed to the pastoral support and development of school staff at all levels, and is, therefore, offering four Support Programmes this year to complement its Continuing Professional Development Programme. The programmes are aimed at Teaching Assistants (TAs), Newly Qulaified Teachers (NQTs), Aspirant Middle Leaders (those staff looking to develop leadership qualities) and Early Headship (aimed at Head Teachers in their first few years of Headship). Bookings can be made by contacting Alex Vinall, Services to Schools and CPD Co-ordinator.
