Join Guildford Cathedral's 24-hour organathon

A 24-HOUR LONG ORGANATHON will take place at Guildford Cathedral next weekend to raise funds for the Guildford Cathedral Music Department.

From 8pm on Friday 28 until 8pm on Saturday 29 September visitors are invited to come down and hear 24 hours of organ playing by Guildford Cathedral Organists, Sub Organists and Organ Scholars past and present. There is even the option to request a song!

Confirmed organists so far are: Katherine Dienes-Williams, Paul Provost, Stephen Farr, Peter Wright, Dave Stevens, Alex Berry, Martin Holford and latest organ scholar Graham Thorpe.

There are several ways you can support the organists on their 24-hour challenge:

Sponsor the organists online at www.everyclick.com/organathon2012 to request a piece of music and show your support for the music at Guildford Cathedral.

First hour flourish at 8pm on the Friday join us for a rousing free recital - no tickets required.

A night to remember lock-in from 10pm to 8am - £45 per person to include a full English Breakfast in the Refectory and free entry to the Finale Concert which includes post-concert drinks (please bring camp bed and sleeping bag!) click here for tickets.
