TONY OAKDEN FROM the Diocesan Communities Engagement Team (CET) is joining with other Dementia friendly Surrey champions to support Dementia Friendly Guildford Week.
The event will run from Saturday 22-Friday 28 February with opportunities to find out more about dementia, seek advice and attend informal sessions to increase understanding and learn how to support people to live well with dementia.
Tony said: “As a Dementia Friendly Surrey Champion I recognise the value in everybody understanding more about dementia both to be able to support people in our local communities who may be living with dementia or who are supporting someone with dementia.
