Moving On Workshop

For IME 6 stipendiary curates and clergy who are considering a move.

Su Blanch of 3D Coaching will facilitate a one day workshop for clergy to explore what their next job might be. It will be an opportunity to clarify your own needs as well as what you have to offer as you consider where to move.  ​

The workshop will cover:

  • Getting your CV in order
  • Completing application forms properly
  • Reading parish profiles and job specifications intelligently
  • Interview techniques and process
  • Knowing which questions to ask

 Participants will leave:

  • More confident about making an application
  • More comfortable about the tension between vocation and selection
  • With an understanding of what they uniquely bring to a role

The day runs from 10am until 4pm and it will be important to attend for the whole day.  Refreshments will be provided but please bring your own lunch.

Su's expertise is in HR and training and development.  She is experienced in facilitating learning through a range of techniques including coaching, action learning, classroom based training and enabling self-managed learning and has extensive experience of coaching clergy at all levels around moving jobs. 

Su is co-author of "How to Make Great Appointments in The Church: Calling Competence and Chemistry"
