Licensed Lay Ministry (Reader) Training

LLM (Reader)s are lay people who are a theological resource in the parish. By retaining their lay (non-ordained) status, they are often seen as more accessible - for example in the workplace - than their ordained colleagues. They often preach, teach and lead worship and are active in their local community. Their training is very similar to that of OLMs.

“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that someone took and sowed in his field;

it is the smallest of all the seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”

Matthew 13:31
