Chobham is a delightful village near Woking in Surrey. The Vicar and PCC of St Lawrence, Chobham are seeking a new organist and choirmaster following the retirement of the present post holder.

The successful applicant would be paid at RSCM rates and receive fees for above average numbers of weddings and funerals. The main Sunday service is at 10.00 a.m. with additional services as expected at festivals and other feast days.

The churchmanship is traditional Anglican. Our main Sunday morning service is traditional / broad church with Common Worship Order 1 Holy Communion. The Wyvern iii/37 electronic organ is well maintained and has recently had its pedal board replaced. The choir is comprised of about twenty enthusiastic adults with all four parts represented. Choir practice is currently on a Thursday evening but this can be changed to another day or time.
