Farnborough Grange Infant School, Farnborough

Believed to be the country’s first ever affiliated church schoolFarnborough Grange Nursery and Infant Community School has never been afraid to break the mould and true to type became the first affiliated school to join the Good Shepherd Trust on 1/09/17.

A school where the 3Rs stand for a real, rich, relevant curriculum, Farnborough Grange is a truly inclusive school with a whole child-centred approach which aims to see its young pupils develop as independent, resilient global citizens who care for themselves, others and their environment.

Its outstanding nursery with highly-skilled and experienced staff attracts families from across NE Hampshire and impressed by the strong community and family ethos, pupils often transfer into  the school where they can flourish and grow through an education for ’life in all its fullness’.

Nestled beneath the M3 and between two large housing estates Farnborough Grange surprises visitors with its two acres of space and extensively-developed outdoor learning opportunities including a stream, an orchard, various habitats and an allotment.

It is a true hub of the community with an open-door policy and strong track record of listening to the needs of families. As such, it is a base for services for people of all ages from an outreach team for pre-schoolers to providing adult learning opportunities and a community kitchen.
