St Paul's CofE Primary School (converted 1/04/14) in the heart of Addlestone's community is a safe, caring and stimulating place of friendship, confidence and achievement with extensive grounds including a fantastic field, full-size trim trail and a separate 'Quiet Area' for reading or peaceful play.
Pupils at the two-form entry school are encouraged to become independent learners through building their 'Learning Muscles', developing essential skills for lifelong learning, such as concentration strategies, problem-solving techniques, the benefits of teamwork and the power of reflection.
Life at St Paul's centres around Christian values of friendship, achievement, integrity, trust and well-being, developed collaboratively to promote spiritual and moral development. The school has strong links with St Paul's Church and with the local community and pupils are encouraged to be caring, respectful and reflective and to consider aspects of the world around them.
The school offers excellent sporting and music opportunities. It holds 'Healthy Schools' status and the 'School Games Mark' (Silver Level) for commitment, engagement and delivery of competitive school sport and is in the process of becoming a Music Medals Partner school for the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM).
As well as an extensive range of extra-curricular activities, it also offers very popular 'wrap-around' childcare provision before and after school.
Pupils' three word summaries:
