Refugees arriving in the diocese

Several families of refugees have now arrived in the diocese under the resettlement programme, and more are planned.

The diocesan team have been liaising with the county and borough councils to help support the refugees as they settle in. We have enough support for the current families - we have volunteers supporting teaching, offering transport and befriending. Your help has been essential in this process - thank you for all your generous donation and offers.

As new families arrive the need for new volunteers will arise. Please watch this space for further details.
