Georgina Louise Hackett

Date: 12 February 2013
THE FUNERAL HAS TAKEN PLACE today at All Saints’ Church Lightwater of Georgina Louise Hackett, who died aged 25 on 1 December 2012 at her home in Heatherside, Camberley. A congregation of around 70 was in attendance.

Georgina was brought up in Lightwater and baptised at All Saints’. Her sudden death at such a young age shocked her family and friends, many of whom were present at her funeral. Her family asked that their privacy be respected at this very sad time.

Speaking during the service, the Vicar of Lightwater, Reverend Mark Wallace, said: “The death of someone so young, a devoted mum and daughter who had so much to live for, can rock us to our foundations. But God encourages us to lift our eyes to him, to look to him for

help.
“Where is God in this situation? He is among you, alongside you – he knows what it is to lose his son.”
“When Jesus stretched out his arms on the cross, he showed you just how much God loves you.”

The funeral was followed by a committal at Easthampstead Park Crematorium in Bracknell.
