Guildford Cathedral Girls Choir 10th Anniversary Concert - Saturday 23 March

Guildford Cathedral Girls’ Choir marks its tenth anniversary at a special concert at the cathedral on Saturday 23 March at 7.30pm.

 

The concert will be performed by the girls and men of the Cathedral Choir, together with previous girl choristers and a group of chamber instrumentalists. The programme is:

 

Mozart's ever popular 'Missa Brevis in D'

 

Macmillan's atmospheric 'Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis'

 

Alleluia by Ephrem Podgaits

 

Sainte Mari moder milde by James Macmillan

 

Ariel Ramirez's fantastic and fun 'Missa Criolla', which is based on the rhythms and traditions of Hispanic America.

 

Special guests will be the former directors of the girls’ choir, Louise Reid and David Davies.
