Join us in spreading what #Eastermeans

Date: 16 April 2014
THE DIOCESE OF GUILDFORD encourages people to share what #Eastermeans with millions on Twitter from Maundy Thursday (17 April) until Easter Day (20 April).

Following the success of the #Christmasmeans campaign, people are asked to finish the sentence #Eastermeans…to share a personal meaning of Easter with pictures, stories and messages.

One of the most prolific tweeters in the Diocese, Archdeacon Paul Bryer, said: “

“#eastermeans remembering the mourning of his dying; remembering the morning of his rising; celebrating the son rise that changed everything.”

@cofeguildford will tweet snippets from the Bishop of Dorking, Ian Brackley's Easter Day sermon to connect with the UK’s 15 million Twitter users and others across the globe.

Then afterward
    I will pour out my spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
    your old men shall dream dreams,
    and your young men shall see visions.

Joel 2:28
