Welcome your new priests

Date: 01 July 2017

The diocese’s new priests were ordained by Bishop Jo at a joyful Guildford Cathedral on Saturday 1 July.

Our newest priests have progressed on their vocational journeys, studying and learning more about their ministries along the way, and re-join their parishes now able to preside at Communion – an important milestone in their call to ministry.

Pictured (alphabetically) with both Bishop Jo and Bishop Andrew are: Jeremy Brown, Christchurch, Virginia Water; Jane Cronin, St Saviour’s, Guildford; Fiona Ellingham, Burgh Heath; Paul Fenner, St Saviour’s, Guildford; Pippa Ford, All Saints, Guildford; Christopher Hancock, St Martin’s, Epsom; Ian Maslin, Cranleigh; Gerard Mee, Thorpe; Hannah Moore, Badshot Lea & Hale; Peter Nevins, St Paul’s, Dorking; Diane Peters, Guildford Westborough; David Senior, Howell Hill with Burgh Heath; Ian Stonehouse, Leatherhead; Wes Sutton, Grayshott and Vivien Turner, Banstead.

Find out more about vocations - and the many and varied ways that everyone is called to serve - here and watch some inspiring two-minute testimonies from our new priests (Ian Maslin's below) about their journeys to ordination here.
