Puttenham CofE Infant School gets glowing Ofsted report

The 90 student Puttenham CofE Infant school has been rated as outstanding in three areas in its latest Ofsted report.

The school received an overall rating of ‘Good’ but was marked as ‘outstanding’ for behaviour and attitudes, personal development and early years provision.

“Pupils and families love this nurturing school,’ says the report. “From the minute they join, pupils thrive in the caring environment.”

The report notes the importance of the school’s Christian values which it says “underpin many aspects of school life.”

“We were delighted with the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection,” says Headteacher Anna De Filippis. “I was especially pleased that they recognised that we are educating the ‘whole child’ and that they get a really good start in their education from this school. Our Christian values underpin everything we do and the whole staff team have worked so hard to achieve this result.”

Puttenham caters for children aged five to seven. The recently published Ofsted inspection is the first the school has received since 2009.
