Leading Courageously, Inspiring Hope
We invite all Headteachers, Senior Leaders, Governors and Clergy connected to our Diocesan family of schools to join the Education team for our annual conference.
We are delighted that Dame Alison Peacock, the Chief Executive of the Chartered College of Teaching will be providing a keynote on courageous leadership and we will also be joined by Mary Myatt, author of ‘Hopeful Schools’.
The day will open with a welcome from Bishop Andrew, followed by our first speaker, Andy Wolfe, Deputy Chief Education Officer for the Church of England.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Leading Courageously, Inspiring Hope” and the conference will launch four school to school support networks across the Diocese focusing on:
- The development of character
- Health & Well-Being of pupils and staff
- Curriculum innovation and design
- Teaching & Learning pedagogy
Delegates will have the opportunity to join 2 workshops exploring the school to school network focus areas.
The cost for the day is £160 per school, which enables 3 people to attend.
Please book your places soon as there will be a limited number of tickets. Invoices will be sent to the school before the event, and there will be a cancellation fee of £50, and the full price will be charged if cancellation is after 10th May 2019.
