Ordinations

Deacons in full clerical attire celebrate their ordination with Bishop Andrew and Bishop Paul

Our ordination services are a time to celebrate and welcome new deacons (those to be given the title Reverend) and priests (deacons who have been training under an incumbent for a year) into the diocese. We're looking forward to celebrating the deaconing of our inaugural Caleb cohort at Guildford Cathedral at Michaelmas on Sunday 28 September, having already celebrated one lot of ordinations at Petertide (late June).

Tickets for the service will be allocated to the ordinands for distribution and the service will also be livestreamed on Guildford Cathedral's YouTube channel. You can follow the service by downloading the order of service to your mobile device by clicking on the service on the Guildford Cathedral calendar a couple of days before the service.
