Children & Families' Community Worker | All Saints Lightwater

All Saints’ is the sole church in a large village in Surrey Heath, close to the town of Camberley and is a lively, active and diverse Christian community which seeks to be the Light of Christ in Lightwater. We serve a village of about 6,500 people in north-west Surrey, with around 400 children aged 5-11 attending the two local schools.

We are looking for someone who is:

• A capable leader with a mature Christian faith, and gifted with young people
• Passionate about working with children and families
• Equipped with ideas and skills to bring fresh initiatives for the community
• Able to work well with our team of volunteers, currently leading children’s Sunday activities
• Ready to expand our activities in new directions

Salary: £12,000-£13,600 (£30-34k FTE) depending on qualifications and experience plus pension scheme. 15 hours per week, weighted towards term time.
