Children & Families' Worker | Parish of Fleet

The Parish of Fleet would like to appoint a Children and Families worker to oversee and support existing activities and lead new initiatives in accordance with the Parish Development Plan. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join a lively and friendly ministry team in a time of significant church growth.

Working hours will be flexible, but the applicant will need to be able to attend existing weekday family activities and occasional Saturday events.

There will be an opportunity for further training in children’s and families' work through the Diocese of Guildford.

Given the nature and context of the work, it is an occupational requirement that the post holder should be a Baptised Christian and able to promote and uphold the beliefs and values of the Church of England.

An appointment will be made in accordance with safe recruiting practices and will be subject to a full enhanced DBS check and appropriate safeguarding training.
