Rev Tara Hellings, vicar of Crondall and Ewshot shares her perspective of being a church for the community, and the encouraging signs of growth that have followed.
Faith and community leaders gathered at Willow Grange in Guildford for a Christian-Muslim forum under the theme "Better Together – Strengths, Challenges, and Local Cooperation." Organised by Surrey Minority Ethnic Forum (SMEF) Faith Links Project with the Diocese of Guildford, the event fostered open dialogue, focusing on youth engagement and interfaith cooperation.
Half of the churches in the Diocese of Guildford have received an Eco Church award (in the bronze, silver or gold categories) which cements the Diocese’s position as one of the leading lights in creation care.
