Working with media

Working with the media is an excellent opportunity to share what we are doing, share our point of view; and highlight the God that we know in the Church life that we are part of.

However, if you have not worked with the media before, this could be daunting. The Communications Team is here to help.

We can offer help and support on how to build relationships with journalists; how to build your confidence but also how best to respond in challenging times.

By engaging with the media, we strive to build trust, transparency and shine a light on the work of our churches, chaplaincies, schools and communities in our diocese.

Below are some policies and resources that will help guide your thinking but please do contact the Communications Team at any time for on-the-spot advice and guidance.
