Advent and Christmas

'Angels - God's Messangers'

Advent Calendar 2026

Wonder about how stories from across the Bible show Angels as God’s messengers using this online advent calendar.

This Advent calendar does not contain pictures of elves and snowmen; instead, each day takes you to a picture by an artist from a variety of cultures, a link to verses from the Bible in which we ask pupils to look for angels and a video of that story, with some questions to wonder about together.

When you click on the door you will find:

an image to consider
a Bible passage to read
a video to watch
some wondering questions to think about together

Below you will find documents for teachers that give an overview of the contents of the calendars so that you can see in advance what will be behind the closed doors. However, occassionally something wonderful is relased during December so we reserve the right to add in exceptional images and videos!
