Description:

St Mary's Send is an historic 12th century church in a rural setting.  It has faithfully served the Send village community for over 800 years, and we offer a friendly and enthusiastic welcome to all.  We are keen to reach out to potential new members whilst nurturing our existing church family.

We are prayerfully looking for a leader who:

  • Demonstrates how their faith is rooted in Eucharistic worship
  • Is compassionate and able to nurture individuals' gifts and spiritual growth
  • Can help us offer both traditional and innovative worship
  • Will have the vision and passion to attract young families and enhance the close relationship with our lovely primary school
  • Embraces diversity and inclusion

Above all, our new priest in charge will be a good communicator with a touch of humour whilst being approachable, dynamic and adaptable.

We offer:

  • An enthusiastic Ministry Team
  • A PCC committed to the Diocesan Clergy Wellbeing Covenant
  • A welcoming and friendly congregation ready to embrace change
